Can anyone who is into details of fashion give me a year on this? I’m thinking 1980, but what do I know? I miss terrycloth shorts. This is one of those 6-post-cards-that-you-separate things of the Cosmos Mystery Area in Black Hills, SD that is still going.

History of the Cosmos

The Cosmos of the Black Hills was discovered in 1952 by 2 college boys looking for a place to build a summer cabin. When they entered this area they experienced a slight unbalance which increased considerably on entering the old house

  1. I’ll have to visit this place sometime. There is a similar phenomenon in New Brunswick at a place called Gravity Hill. You drive down this slight hill, put your car in neutral, and it actually rolls back up the hill. It’s the darnedest thing. They say its an optical illusion or something…but it sure felt real!
But Magnetic Hill never had a cutie in terry cloth shorts 😉

    1. I’ve been in a building that was built to do this kind of stuff, maybe in Silver Dollar City or something like that, where a ball appeared to roll uphill, but the floor wasn’t level and so you knew it was an illusion. I’ve not been aware of anything like this outdoors. Kinda wild.
