Into the Night Soundtrack. MCA 5561. 1985. Artists include B. B. King, Dan Wallin, Patti La Belle, Thelma Houston, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops.

I LOVE this movie! Every few years I have to hunt this down and watch it again. What a fun fantastic ride John Landis takes us on. Landis directed Animal House, The Blues Brothers, An American Werewolf in London, Trading Places, and more. Jeff Goldbulm plays a guy that can’t sleep. One night he runs into Michelle Pfeiffer looking very 1980s hot. She is on the run from some Iranians. Along the way we meet her Elvis impersonator brother, David Bowie as some kind of secret guy, and Carl Perkins as a body guard (I know there is some deep meaning in the fight between Bowie and Perkins).

  1. Michelle was smoking hot in this move… not quite Hollywood Knights hot, but she is a little more revealing.

I still contend that most of us did NOT wear clothes like this back then.
